The rebirth of a 5 year old band means changes and 2009 definitely showed plenty. The guys knew they had to reach another level in order to keep the crowds coming back for more and acquire new friends along the way. In addition to improving an already stellar song list, the band also understood they’ve taken on a different identity since its beginning and decided to search for a fitting name. After months of discussions and ideas, AsIs has taken on a new meaning. The idea and notion of being the best band means audiences are expecting just that. AsIs reminds their audience that best bands simply don’t take things AsIs–they’re taking entertainment to another level. The band remains a quartet with a different attitude and name, but the purpose is the same…for the love of music and entertainment! AsIs band members are musicians with versatile skill and talent for every crowds’ enjoyment. With a combined experience of more than half a century, they can and will take you on a fun and entertaining ride at every show–guaranteed. AsIs covers a variety of music, some funk and blues keeps the crowd tappin’ their feet, while the classic and alternative-buzz rock keeps the hardcore fans in check.
